Windows Photo Gallery Can Make A Fantastic Presentation.

Written on September 3, 2010 at 4:39 am, by admin

Next month is my parents 50 wedding anniversary. My brothers have given me the task of putting together a presentation of their life together. They all sent me pictures of our family events. Each brother sent me a letter to my parents. I had to compile all of this using Microsoft word, my printer and scanner. I scanned each picture into window photo gallery. All of these were going into a slide show presentation. I came into a problem when I tried to add the documents. My neighbor next door is a wiz at presentations. I called her up and asked, “can I save a word document as a jpeg?” She explained that all I needed to do was to print the document and scan to windows photo gallery and it will be a jpeg. She went on to explain that once the slide show is together I can add voice and music. I could even read the documents into the audio of the slide show. This presentation has taken me over a month to produce. This will be a great keepsake for our family forever.

How To Stash Cash While Backpacking In Europe

Written on September 2, 2010 at 9:45 am, by admin

Observing safety precautions with your cash when backpacking in Europe is a good idea to be free from danger. With this, you will also have a peace of mind during your travel time. However, making a back up pocket for your cash for emergency reasons may be crucial, like inserting an extra twenty or fifty dollar bill to your sock but will make you worry of falling out to the sidewalk. Another good idea in keeping your cash is to put it inside your money belt. This way, it is far from the thefts attention. Some people have designed their own safety money pockets just like one famous traveler who designed his own theft-proof pants pocket. He keeps his credit card to that pocket to be free of danger on the road. Some women also sew safe pockets on the safe area of their clothes where robbers cant easily notice.

New York– The Place To Be!

Written on August 29, 2010 at 1:36 pm, by admin

We went to New York for a 6 day business trip and stayed at the Crowne Plaza Times Square. This hotel is in the best location! When you step out the front door of the Hotel you end up right in the heart of Time Square. The room I stayed in was huge and had a wonderful view of New York City. Everyone there was very nice and accomodating to my every need. The best part of the being right in the middle of Time Square was the fact that we didnt have to rent a car or spend money on a taxi because we were able to walk everywhere we needed to. New York is such a beautiful state full of so many different types of people that no matter where you go you feel like you are at home. Oh and the food; It is amazing! You will never get bored when you are in NY!

Mell was planning on baking some cookies for her children. She got all the ingredients from the market. After coming home, she prepared the dough and turned on the oven. But suddenly the oven stopped working. She began to look for the instruction manual. She found an instruction manual for neff oven instead. She flipped through the pages thinking that may be both the ovens have the same features. But they were very different and it seemed to be of no use to Mell. She kept it aside and began to look for the actual instruction manual. She kept looking but it was useless. She could not find it. She then logged on to the internet and found an online manual for her device. She downloaded the file and took a print out of it. She then went through it and came across the problem that she was facing. The possible solutions were stated in the manual. She tried to work around them and got her oven in working condition. She was proud of herself. Instead of throwing it away or calling an electrician, she fixed it all by herself.
