The Google corporation has a set of job interview questions that they like to ask and some of those questions are paraphrased below. Keep in mind, though, that recently Google changed their hiring practices and the questions that are asked in the past are no longer asked. For example, mind bending questions are no longer valued but are now frowned upon.

Okay, here are some questions.

Tell me the reason you want to join this organization.

Tell me what you know but this company and the products that we provide. Do you use any of our products?

Describe how you would marked our services to the masses?

What is your experience in presenting seminars on the products and services of a company?

What do you know about out top competitors and how do you think we can do a better job competing against them in this economy?

Telling About the Person You Admire Most

Another question in the business school essays and MBA essays is about the person you admire the most. The admission committee really wants to be aware of the characteristics and talents you value in other people and aspire to espouse. Drive, discipline and vision are fine examples but try to look beyond these conventional qualities. Tell a tale and supply specific good examples. When you use someone famous (that is fine) however, keep in mind that you risk being one of several within the pile. Rather think about a current boss, business connection or a friend. Realize that the selection of the person you admire is less important, what’s important is what you say about that person.

Another task that you need to do is describing a certain scenario and telling the committee about the challenges you faced and how did you manage. I always liked going to school, however, it sometimes also was a nightmare because of the other kids who went to the same schools. I always seemed to be the outsider, probably what you would call nerd these days. The other kids were not very nice to me. Often the teachers would read out my name as being the best in an exam. On one hand I really enjoyed this because it was some extra attention from the teachers. On the other hand, however, it was also something that did not help much with being popular among the other kids. They often called me the teacher?s pet even though I did not do much more than simply getting very good marks in certain subjects. I wasn?t even good in all of them. I really sucked in maths.

I just moved to the UK and I am in need of a job. I’m not really too worried on what kind of job it is as long as it’s not minimum wage because that won’t be able to pay the bills I have. It really made going to work miserable and I was not about to work for the next five years under this mans supervision.
