Refrigerator for Wine

My friend organizes these gathering in his house every month and he needs a lot of wine to serve the guests. I suggested for him to buy new air wine coolers so that he would not have to worry much about how many wine bottles are cool enough and are good to serve. Wine coolers enable him to store and cool numerous wine bottles at the same time so that there is a constant supply of cool wine for the guests. All he has to do is replace the empty slots with new bottles whenever he takes out one. Guests love his wine and they like coming back to his place because of it. One of these days, I should suggest that he open up a restaurant and charge the guests for the wine they drink. However, my friend is too much of a good person to do that. He simply enjoys being in these parties and hosting them at the same time.

The first is that shipping is often a significant charge. Especially if you are having wine shipped to the east coast, you will want to verify shipping costs before placing your order. Since many wine clubs are either based in California, or warehouse their wines there, shipping to the east coast can certainly be cost prohibitive. The costs can be (if you are wondering) up to 10 dollars per bottle for ground shipping and much, much more for overnight or second day air delivery.

Lastly, you should also know that major media backed clubs are only using their media members name. As an example, no one in the New York Times wine and food section is helping to select the wine for their wine club.

How Expensive Would This Be?

My brother is trying to talk me into helping him and his girlfriend start this catering company, but I am not sure about how much it will really cost. I do admit that both of them are great cooks. If I was having a big party I would definitely hire both of them to cater it, but this is not the same. They would need a van to start with. Mike says he would like to have one the size of a UPS truck and he is looking for one with a little refrigeration unit. I never saw a truck like that and I think he’ll have to make do with coolers. Then they shall need a lot of serveware and catering equipment. It is the how much that will cost which concerns me. I told him and Shelly to get me a good quote and then to find some money of their own. I do not want to be the only person with his butt hanging out on this deal.
