Using the Digital Lock System on the SentrySafe X105
Wednesday, February 8th, 2012
Before using the SentrySafe X105 for the first time check to make sure that there are batteries provided. Some manufacturers do not provide batteries with their products which can be a bit of a pain so double check to be certain. If you do need to provide your own batteries then invest in a good quality brand that are alkaline based and not rechargeable.
Install the new batteries by first unlocking the door by using the provided override keys. Open the door and place the batteries in the compartment in the inside edge of the door. The safe will have its default coding but I would strongly advise you to replace it with your own personal selection.
- To add a new code you need to first reset the system. Do this by pressing the tiny button at the side of the door. A yellow light will flash indicating that the unit is ready to save your new code.
- Punch in a new 8 digit number, enter the hash key and you are done.

These Are Very Good Locks
Sunday, November 13th, 2011
When our house was broken in to recently, the police officer told us that there actually was no damage to our front door. It looked like somebody took the time to pick the lock in order to gain access to the house. This really bothered me and my wife because for many years we thought that we lived in a safe neighborhood. After that happened, I decided that it was time to change the type of lock that we had. A good friend of mine suggested a keyless lock made by Kaba Ilco because they have such a strong reputation for high quality locks. Honestly, having a lock like this is a much better idea because we can change the combination really often. I will feel much better knowing that someone would not be able to pick the lock from now on. These are so easy to install that I put one in myself.

Bug out Bag Are an Essential Part of Your Survival Preparations
Monday, October 24th, 2011
Bug out bags, or disaster kits, should always come with several light sources. You have to assume electricity will be unavailable. Include several well-tested flashlights. Heavy-duty lights are preferable to cheaper brands you can purchase at discount stores. You should also include batteries. Including a light that is powered by a manual hand cranks is also a good idea.
One of the most important items in a survival pack next to food and water is a knife. Purchase a quality knife for inclusion in your Bug Out Bag, and do not assume you will be carrying your usual knife when disaster strikes. If you include a multi-tool, you should also include a separate survival knife with a large, serrated blade. You may need to cut down tree limbs or hack through thick substances. You should also pack a sharpening stone to care for the knife.
Staying dry is essential to survival. When planning a kit for bag survival after a disaster, you should include several ways to shelter from rain. Most camping stores sell plastic ponchos in bags. They are lightweight and take minimal space. You can include several, as they are fragile and can be torn. You should also include heavier protection like coats or fleece linings if you live in cold climate areas. A tarp or tent can also provide shelter from rain.

My Wonderful Apartment, And All Of The Wonderful Things Near It
Saturday, July 10th, 2010
I love the apartment I live in. It’s a nice, 2-bedroom apartment that’s near the center of the city I live in. It’s got a large window with a beautiful view that lets lots of light in. I have a wireless cctv kit installed also for my peace of mind – not that the area is rough, but you just never know. We have 2 bathrooms, which is convenient when we have guests over. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. We have a great walk-in closet in the bedroom, which is very useful for storing things. The apartment complex has a gym with a pool, which makes staying fit and healthy very convenient. There’s also a patio area for when we feel like grilling some food. My apartment is located very close to a mall, so I can go shopping or see movies any time I want! There are also lots of restaurants nearby. It’s a great place to live.
